"The pianist Alexandra Sostmann has put together a program under the title Grenzgänge, but it could just as well be described as ‘calm and meditation’. There is no loud music here, nothing virtuosic, but the pianist plays mainly quiet, meditative pieces and thus creates a program stretched over several centuries, but which on the whole is very homogeneous. Sostmann caresses our ears with fine playing, quite soulful and rhetorical, but without ever overwhelming the listener, without disturbing him. He lets himself drift leisurely on the fine waves of this sea of notes. And after 70 minutes, the music reverberates in the silence as if it had not yet faded away. A blessing!"
